About the Author
Earl Olson
Born in Northern Ohio in 1955, Earl has been interested in art from a young age. He had some success with music; however, he decided to pursue a formal graphics education at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, PA, where he obtained a degree in graphics illustration and later returned to study web
development and design.
He has since worked at some of America’s largest full-service print houses and advertising agencies as a designer and illustrator. His love for art has taken him down several different paths of interest. Some of them are: photo retouching, sign painting, corporate identity, packaging, custom vehicle artwork, magazine and book design/illustration, and much more.
Earl is always studying, creating art, and ready for new artistic journeys. His
influences are Albert Bierstadt with draping landscapes. Andrew Wyeth and his signature style, and Robert Bateman with incredible compositions. Currently, Earl resides in Northern California and enjoys painting wildlife and nature.
